6th Year Anniversary: Charles Nwangwa (AKAJIUGO) Reveals Areas Ikpeazu has done Well

Abia born Industrialist and public analyst, Honourable Chief Lawrence Charles Nwangwa, has felicitated with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu PhD on his 6th year as Abia State Governor and on his achievement so far.

This was contained in a press release signed by Chief Lawrence Charles Nwangwa and made available to All (Abia) Facts Newspaper.

In the press release, Nwangwa recalled that Aba was almost like an abandoned commercial hub before the intervention of Ikpeazu’s government which has greatly transformed the city through the provision of infrastructures like roads.

He also revealed the fact that small and medium businesses have been boosted through the made in Aba initiative of the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s government. He has also given encouragement to industries through granting of waivers when the need arises.

“We must not forget the state of Aba before the emergence of Governor Ikpeazu, we must not forget that the city was like abandoned commercial hub and was gradually becoming a ghost time due to the total collapse of road infrastructure”.

“But today things are changing, some very important roads have being constructed, and the commercial hub is coming back to life. This we must appreciate Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for”

“Now looking at the MADE IN ABA initiative, no one can take credit away from the governor. People are becoming very proud to wear clothes, shoes and other fashion accessories sourced from Aba unlike before that they were viewed as fake. The Ikpeazu Made in Aba campaign has brought back life to so many small scale production outfits in Aba and Abia state in general”

“In education, Abia has been coming first during national examinations. What does that tell you? It simply means that Ikpeazu’s educational policies is working”

“The governor must be commended for the quality of roads we are seeing scatter all around Abia State, roads that are built to last the test of time. Roads that will outlive his tenure as governor, roads that will enable other incoming governors to look at other needed road projects in Abia”

Nwangwa reassured Ikpeazu of the unfailing support of Abians and charged him to continue his good works and ensure that the remaining 2 years will be more remarkable.

Governor Ikpeazu has also through good community and youth relations improved the security of lives abd property as Abia State still remain one of the safest States in Nigeria.

  1. For those of us leaving within the areas of Ekeakpara and environs, we will not see with you in this assessment until we feel the impact here. It seems we here are not part of Abia state. The road called old express, running from Osisioma junction through Ekeakpara to link with the present express to Owerri at Owerintta, is it not part of the Governor’s responsibilities. I know you may argue that it is a federal road, an argument we have heard overtime yet it still remains the Governor’s bit and those our Representatives to get it done. We are the Governor’s subjects and we are surfering terribly here because of this road
