The Catholic Diocese of Enugu has lost Rev. Fr. Paul Offu in the hands of some hoodlums suspected to be herdsmen along Ihe-Agbudu Road in Awgu.
Fr. Offu who hails from Okpatu in Udi; and until his death was the parish priest of St. James the Greater Parish, Ugbawka.
This incident has caused an eruption of protest in Enugu state, as Catholic priests from all over Enugu Parish demonstrated over unmitigated killings and kidnapping of their colleagues, worshippers and Nigerians by Fulani herdsmen today in Enugu
