The National Chiarman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has threatened that his party will resist any move by the APC to rig the forthcoming elections. Saying it will be disastrous if they try to rig the elections.
Prince Secondus who spoke at the Presidential Rally in Umuahia which was well attended by the party’s men of caliber, promised that it will not be business as usual for the APC again going by the experiences of Osun and Ekiti where there were reports of massive electoral fraud and intimidation of voters.
In his address, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar promised to restore the glory of Nigeria, create jobs, create a conducive environment for businesses to thrive. In his words “the APC has failed this country, it is our time to get this country working again.”
Our people are hungry and suffering, we are insecure as we are afraid of where the next attack will come from. My government will improve the lives of Nigerians and make this country better than what the APC has made of it.”
Alhaji Abubakar called on Abians to vote PDP and return all PDP candidates in the various positions.
The event was well attended by the Presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Mr. Peter Obi, the governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Senators representing the senatorial district in the state, members of the federal house of Representatives and chieftains of the party in the state.
