Women and Youth Empowerment remains Dr. Mike Ukoha’s main focus because it is the anchor of other developmental strides.

If Dr. Mike Ukoha is elected to represent the good people of Arochukwu L.G.A in Abia State House of Assembly, he will make policies that will provide employment and access to capital for the women because he sees the women and the youth as the most important drive of a nation’s economy. Therefore, he will ensure that our women have access to capital for their trading and businesses at little or no interest without collateral.

Dr. Mike Ukoha – APGA House of Assembly Candidate for Arochukwu State Constituency

In every society, women play critical and vital role, and if they must do well, they deserve empowerment at all times to enable them do what they know how to do best. Through cooperative society, the women will access to basic capital of N50,000 and above at no interest rate to help their businesses to grow; many will be trained in Hairdressing, Bead making, Tailoring and so on, and after completing their training, take off grants will be given to them to establish their businesses and equally make them to become employers of labor.

There is no gain saying the fact that the youth are the strength of every Nation, the same is applicable to all the youths in Arochukwu L.G.A. Dr. Mike Ukoha’s policies for the youth is to train them in skills acquisition and establish them in subsea Welding, Mechanic, Tailoring, Hair Barbering, Air Conditioning Certification, Shoe fabrication and Refrigerator repairing. After these intensive training, funds will be provided for them to take off and this will immensely make our youth to be meaningfully engaged for self reliance and enable them to shun vices that will be capable of endangering their precious lives.

While this category will be for School leavers only, the next category will be beneficial to graduates through entrepreneurial development training, this training, locally and globally will enable the youth to be highly skilled and experienced to compete favorably with the rest of their contemporaries and equally create massive job to others.

Dr. Mike Ukoha has resolved to always fight for the youth. He will use his experiences to articulate policies that will facilitate partnering with private sectors to train our youths in various skills in several economic sectors and upon graduation, they will receive seed funds to start up.

It is important for our youths both graduates and non-graduates to begin to retrace their minds and think entrepreneurship because that is the way to go now.

This policy on Women and Youth Empowerment is a laudable and achievable one and they are very dear to him having taken into consideration the so many challenges that confront the people of Arochukwu Constituency.
Dr. Mike Ukoha therefore needs the support of everyone in the forth coming election on March 2nd, 2019, so as to realize these all important policies for Women and Youth of his Constituency.
