A groundbreaking faith-based initiative has been launched to distribute one million Bibles across Nigeria in honour of Seyi Tinubu. Find out how it aims to reshape youth morality and leadership values nationwide.
… The faith-based initiative aims to promote moral renewal and ethical leadership among Nigerian youths, according to organisers of the thanksgiving service held in Abuja.
In a rare gesture blending faith, leadership, and youth empowerment, one million copies of the Holy Bible are set to be distributed across Nigeria in honour of Barrister Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The faith-based initiative was officially announced on Sunday during a national thanksgiving service held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja. The event was organised by friends and associates of Seyi Tinubu under the coordination of Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).
According to the organisers, the Bible distribution project is not a political or personal celebration but an effort to promote moral transformation, ethical leadership, and civic responsibility among Nigerian youths.
Hon. Enwere explained that the gesture was inspired by the need to revive moral consciousness and Christian values in the country’s younger generation.
“The one million Bible project is a gift to the body of Christ and a seed for moral transformation. Through this effort, we hope to restore integrity, compassion, and love for humanity among young Nigerians,” Enwere stated.
The thanksgiving service — which reportedly took place simultaneously in about 40 churches across the country — featured prayers for the Tinubu family and the Nigerian nation.
The Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, Rev. Ini Ukpuho, who officiated the Abuja service, described the initiative as “a timely intervention” in a society struggling with declining moral values.
Several clergy and church leaders in attendance praised the gesture as an example of how influential young Nigerians can use their platforms to promote godliness and national renewal.
In a message read on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu expressed gratitude to the organisers, reaffirming his belief that faith and moral education are crucial for nation-building.
The first batch of Bibles was symbolically presented during the thanksgiving service and will soon be distributed to churches, schools, and youth ministries nationwide in the coming weeks.
