Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa condemns the gruesome murder of a couple in Etitiulo, Bende LGA, assuring the community that justice will be served. He pledges government support for the grieving family and calls for a swift investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, prominent Labour Party chieftain and community leader, has expressed profound shock and condemnation over the gruesome murder of Mr. Jacob Udo and his wife, Dorcas Jacob, in Etitiulo community, Bende Local Government Area. The tragic incident, which occurred on Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, has left the community in deep mourning.

During a condolence visit to the bereaved family, Chief Chinasa described the murder as a “heinous and barbaric act,” vowing that justice will be served. He assured the residents of Etitiulo that the government is fully committed to investigating the case and bringing the perpetrators to justice swiftly.

“This incident is not only a personal tragedy for the family but a crime against our entire community. We will not rest until those responsible for this senseless act are apprehended and brought to justice,” Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa said, offering his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family.

High Chief Peter Nduka, the village head and landlord of the deceased couple, lamented the loss of the peaceful couple, who had lived harmoniously in the community for over 30 years. “Jacob and Dorcas were great, easy-going individuals who had no enemies. This is a tragedy that has shaken our village to its core,” he said, urging the authorities to ensure a thorough investigation.

Accompanying Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa on the visit was Dr. Silas Eke, a key Labour Party stakeholder in Bende, who also expressed his condolences and solidarity with the community, emphasizing the need for prompt justice to bring closure to the family and restore peace in the area.

The brutal murder of the couple has sparked widespread outrage across the state, with calls for heightened security and stricter law enforcement to prevent such tragedies from recurring. Chief Chinasa’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to upholding law and order, even in the face of such horrific acts.

As the investigation continues, the community remains hopeful that justice will prevail and that the culprits behind this gruesome crime will be held accountable.
