How We Rescued Late Nabeeha’s Kidnapped Sisters – Police Reveals | READ DETAILS
Five sisters of late Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar who were on January 2 kidnapped, have been released.
Recall that the six sisters were kidnapped alongside their father in their residence at Bwari Area Council of Abuja. The kidnappers had released their father, to rally round for a ransom of N60million.
Unfortunately, the kidnappers killed one of the sisters, Nabeeha as the family failed to provide the ransom after the January 5 deadline and increased the ransom to N100M.
Announcing their release, the FCT Police command in a statement released on Sunday, January 21 by it’s Public Relations Officer, said they “successfully rescued the victims near Kajuru forest in Kaduna state at about 11:30PM on Saturday.
The police statement read;
Following the relentless advancement of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command’s Anti-Kidnapping squad, in concerted efforts with troops of the Nigerian Army, regarding the kidnappers that struck the Zuma 1 area in the Bwari Area Council on January 2, 2024, the FCT Police have successfully rescued the victims, reuniting them with their families. The operatives accomplished this near Kajuru forest in Kaduna state around 11:30 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024.

Garba, psc, appreciates the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, for deploying the newly commissioned Special Intervention Squad. This deployment has uplifted the existing security architecture of the FCT and fostered public confidence. CP Haruna G.
