BREAKING: Atiku to grace grand finale of PDP governorship campaign in Kogi today

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, is set to make a high-profile appearance in Lokoja today for the Grand Finale of the PDP Gubernatorial Campaign in Kogi state.

This was confirmed by Demola Olarewaju, one of the spokesmen of the former vice president.

Olarewaju described the alliance as a natural political outcome, noting Senator Dino Melaye’s unwavering commitment to the previous campaign efforts of Atiku.

Melaye, the governorship candidate of the PDP, also served as one of the spokespersons of Atiku’s campaign team and chief agent at the National Collation Centre during the presidential election.

Olarewaju wrote on X:

”I can confirm that the National Leader of the Opposition PDP will be in Lokoja today for the Grand Finale of the PDP Gubernatorial Campaign.

”#AtikuForDinoMelaye is a most natural political outcome for a dogged soldier who stood firmly by our campaign. #KogiForPDP is a goal!”
