APGA Guber Campaign Council Unveiled, Why Greg Ibe Is Best Positioned To Fix Abia Revealed | WATCH VIDEO/SEE FULL LIST

Reverend Augustine Ehiemere, the Abia State Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), has described the party’s governorship candidate, Professor Greg Ibe as a round peg in a round hole who has the sole capacity to change the style of governance in the state.

Ehiemere while addressing newsmen in Umuahia on Friday evening, during the formal unveiling of Greg Ibe’s governorship campaign council explained that the need to include experienced politicians and stakeholders in the list to ensure the absence of loopholes during the campaigns proper, caused the delay in releasing of the campaign council list.

“The campaign council is made up of experienced politicians in Abia, stakeholders across all political parties who have realised that Greg Ibe has the capacity to govern Abia and clean the mess that the ruling party has made in Abia” the state chairman said.

According to Ehiemere, the APGA’S governorship candidate is the only person among all other who has invested in Abia state and has made several interventions in education, health, security, employment and other areas because he has the interest of Abians at heart. WATCH VIDEO BELOW:

“Professor Greg Ibe as a governor of Abia state will lay to rest godfatherism, non- payment of pensions and salaries, further decay of infrastructural development in Abia and will give birth to a new Abia of our dream“.

Ehiemere called on all Abians to embrace Ibe warning that the state cannot afford to have the same set of people who according to him, have brought colossal damage to the state to continue being in the corridors of power.

“We urge all Abians to rise to the occasion and make the right choice. Abia cannot afford to allow people that have brought a colossal decay in the entire Abia governance to come back to govern Abia come 2023”.

“Greg Ibe is a round peg in a round hole, a visionary man who has empowered Abians both at home and in the diaspora; he has created jobs for the youths; he has made several interventions in security and health.

“All these ones jostling for positions, have they any establishment where Abia youths are employed? he queried.

Ehiemere warned that APGA will not tolerate any form of intimidation by the party in power. He charged heads of security personnel to caution their officials to maintain decorum, ensure that peace ensues as campaign starts and not infringe on the rights of the people.

He also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to hastily release the Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to their rightful owners and ensure that any form of malpractices are not tolerated.
