The 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Professor Gregory Ibe, has congratulated Mrs Janet Agbede on her promotion from Commissioner of Police in the state, to Assistant Inspector General (AIG).

In his congratulatory message, Ibe expressed confidence that Agbede will do well in her new position judging from her previous achievements in the Force.

The congratulatory message read;

Having received with elation news of your well deserved elevation to the revered rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police, I hereby write to congratulate you for this landmark achievement.

Against the backdrop of your meritorious outing on past beats, I am confident that you are going to post a more sterling performance on this new level that will make all us proud.
