Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa (A.K.A Dogo) and Governor Alex Otti OFR - No Defection: Bende Labour Party Reaffirms Commitment To Gov. Alex Otti’s New Abia Vision
Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa (A.K.A Dogo) and Governor Alex Otti OFR

The Bende Labour Party chapter has debunked rumors of a defection to the APC, affirming its unity and dedication to Governor Alex Otti’s “New Abia” vision. The party calls for a retraction of the false report.

In response to recent reports suggesting that the Bende chapter of the Labour Party (LP) had collapsed into the All Progressives Congress (APC), the LP leadership in Bende has firmly denied these allegations.

Ebenezer Kanu, representing the AguBende Media Team, released a statement clarifying the situation. He emphasized that the Bende Labour Party remains a cohesive and vibrant entity, actively working towards the realization of Governor Alex Otti‘s “New Abia” vision. The executive arms and members from all 13 wards in Bende are reportedly engaged in regular meetings and fully mobilized for party activities.

Kanu dismissed the claims of a mass defection as “false, baseless, and the warped imagination of the author.” He asserted that there had been no discussions or actions taken towards merging with the APC, and any such reports are entirely unfounded. Kanu also advised the author of the initial report to retract the erroneous publication to avoid potential legal consequences.

Key Points:

The Bende chapter of the Labour Party has not merged with the APC.

The party remains united and actively supports Governor Alex Otti’s agenda.

Claims of a defection are deemed false and without basis.

A call for retraction of the erroneous report has been made.

PURPORTED COLLAPSE OF BENDE LABOUR PARTY TO ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS:

Our attention has been drawn to a spurious publication in ABNTV captioned “LP, PDP, YPP Collapse into APC in Bende”, alleging an imagined subsuming of the Bende Labour Party into the All Progressive Congress and hereby write to make the following clarifications;

1.That Bende Labour Party is still a united entity growing strong each day.

  1. That the entire structures of Labour Party in Bende consisting of the executive arms and members of the 13 wards are fully mobilized through constant meetings and committed to realizing the New Abia vision of Governor Alex Otti

3.That the purported collapse of Bende Labour Party into the All Progressives Congress is therefore false, baseless and the warped imagination of the author.

  1. That the author is hereby advised to immediately retract the erroneous publication in order to prevent possible resort to other means of redress.

Ebenezer Kanu
