A secondary school teacher in Imo state has received nine cups of beans, two tubers of yam and a bottle of red oil in prize award for being the best teacher.
Mr Sunday Nwafor emerged tops following a poll voted by students.
Nwafor who also floats a private lesson center won the prize ‘for exceptional dedication to duty’ which reportedly saw all the graduating students in the school where he teaches pass their West African Examination Council (WAEC) in one sitting.
Upon this feat, they singled him out for the honours.
Aside the nine cups of beans, two tubers of yam, and a bottle of red oil, Nwafor also took home an envelope with undisclosed sum for his diligence.
