The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has announced the immediate dissolution of two-House Committees. They are the committee on Lands and the committee on Judiciary and Public Petitions.
In announcing the dissolution in plenary today, the Speaker said the dissolution was informed by the need to enhance oversight functions of the House over Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government for greater productivity. He further said more announcements will be made in due course as regards other committees.
