BREAKING: Court Give Judgement On Uduak Frank Over Mu-rder Of Akwa Ibom Job Seeker
An Akwa Ibom state High court sitting in Uyo, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, sentenced Uduak Frank Akpan, to death by hanging for the rape and gruesome murder of Iniubong Umoren.
The court however discharged and acquitted Akpan’s father and sister.
Umoren was a 26-year-old graduate of Philosophy from the University of Uyo, (UNIUYO). She had resorted to seek for job while awaiting the one year mandatory NYSC last year.
While seeking for a job, she was lured by Uduak Frank Akpan, a 20-year-old undergraduate (200level) of Public Administration in Obong University, Obong Ntak, Akwa Ibom state, raped and murdered.
