TRA-GEDY: How Gunmen Attacked Cattle Market In Anambra | READ IN FULL
The Igboukwu cattle market in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, was on Thursday night, attacked by gunmen.
The attack which resulted to the death of over 20 cows and goats, happened immediately after Aguata Local Government Area headquarter was set ablaze.
According to reports, the assailants invaded the market, shooting the animals while the owners scampered for safety.
A source told PUNCH that;
“The gunmen after burning Aguata Local Government secretariat, plied through Ekwulobia and headed straight to Igboukwu.
“Stopping at Igboukwu area, there’s a cattle ranch where they sell over 30 cows by your right hand. The gunmen entered there and killed all the cows belonging to an Igbo man.”
