Responding to the alleged removal on Thursday, Powerful stated that Nnamdi Kanu remains the only recognized leader of the IPOB
Powerful told DAILY POST; “They replaced him with who, don’t mind these gossipers who don’t know what is happening in IPOB hierarchy. IPOB is a decent and disciplined movement, and they will never in their life know how operational strategy works.
“There is no other leader we have except Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and no other person fits that position. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remains our leader in IPOB no matter any condition, anybody who claimed to be the new leader of IPOB should come out openly and do the work of a leader in IPOB; we are waiting for them.”
On his own part, Special Counsel to the IPOB, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor said;
“The report is untrue in its entirety. The organizational structure of IPOB as a legal entity in the UK remains as it was, with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as the Director”.
Meanwhile, a letter signed by Mazi Chibuzo Nwokoye, Head Admin, the Biafran Times London announced the suspension of Alloy Chukwuemeka Ezeji.
