BREAKING: Court Extends Abba Kyari’s Detention | SEE REASONS

Justice Zainab Abubakar of a Federal High Court in Abuja, has extended the detention duration of suspended DCP Abba Kyari in the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) custody.
Recall that the NDLEA had approached the court seeking for an extension of time from the normal 48 hours duration to enable the Agency make further investigations on the alleged complex drug case.
Ruling on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 Justice Abubakar granted the NDLEA’s request, noting that Kyari should be detained for 14 days starting from Tuesday.
This is to enable the NDLEA round up its investigation before possible arraignment and prosecution of the embattled Super cop before a law court.
