Cultivate The Habits Of Book Writing, Gov. Ikpeazu Advises Pub. Servants, Political Appointees

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie lkpeazu has charged Public Servants and Political Appointees to cultivate the habit of writing books that will impact on people and Society.

Dr lkpeazu who gave the charge during the public presentation of a book” Practice And Procedure On Recovery Of Premises In Nigeria; A Quick Reference” authored by two legal luminaries, Mr Agbai Iro Ogbuabia and David Agbai Iro held at the Michael Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia said the best one can do for humanity is to document ideas and events into books.

The Governor represented by his Deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu noted that the present age are bereft of vital information as a result of lack of documentation of events like the Civil War era and commended the duo of Agbai Ogbuabia and David Iro for their thoughtfulness in putting their ideas into a book.

 

He further pointed out that what the authors have done remain a vital document for the present Govt and the public as it will serve as a reference point to tackle issues involving Landlords and their Tenants in view of how to broker better working relationship and encouraged all to take advantage of the  presentation and buy the book for their library.

 

Speaking while presenting the book, the State Chairman of PDP, Chief Alwell Asiforo Okere said the book has dwelt deep into matters concerning Tenancy and Landlords issues and appreciated the twin authors for their sacrifice and commitment in touching the critical aspect of society.

 

In his remarks, the Chairman on the occasion and judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Enyinnaya Okezie said they came to celebrate their colleagues who have consistently authored books that benefits the society and described it as one that cuts across every profession and relevant in every aspect

 

Earlier in their remarks, the authors of the book, Mr Agbai Ogbuabia Iro and the State Secretary of PDP, Chief David Agbai Iro thanked God for giving them the Grace to do the work which according to them will help address every bottleneck between Landlords and Tenants and appreciated all that came to identify with them.

 

The event which featured the Review of the eight Chapters 243 paged  book, ” Practice And Procedure On Recovery Of Premises In Nigeria; A Quick Reference by a Principal Partner  Privy Partners, Mr Chidozie Ogunji attracted the presence of the Deputy Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Mr Ifeanyi Uchendu, the Commissioner for Establishment and Training Comrade Chidiebere Uwagwu and his Ministry of Sports Counterpart, Chief Karibe Ojigwe, Principal Secretary to the Wife of the Governor, Mrs Love Ezema, a former member that represented Arochukwu Ohafia Federal Constituency, Chief Arua Arunsi, Top Govt Officials and other distinguished personalities.
