The United Arab Emirates branch of Abiriba Communal Improvement Union (ACIU-Emirates) had her elections on August 27, 2021 in Dubai, UAE for 2021/22 executives of the branch.
ACIU-Emirates is the socio-cultural organization and Umbrella body of Abiriba people of Ohafia Local Government Area in Abia State living home and abroad.
The election produced Mr. Smith Ukoha and Mr. Ndukwo Ukariwo Eni, as the President and Vice President respectively of the ACIU-Emirates for the next one year.
Other elected executives of the ACIU branch are;
Mr. Okorie Samuel Mayor (Secretary); Mr. Kalu Chukwu Kalu ( Assistant Secretary); Mr. Kalu Azuh Kalu (Treasurer); Mr. Urum Ohuonu (Speaker); Mr. Ogboso Udochu (Financial Secretary); Mr. Ikechi Amogu (PRO); Mr. Emenonye Nwojo Uguru Ikpoka (Provost); Mr. Obewu Urum (Assistant Provost); Mr. Eleanya Kalu Onumah (Welfare Chairman), and Mr. David Agbai Ogba (Disciplinary Committee Chairman).
The ACIU-Emirates also celebrated the new yam festival for the year 2021.

Meanwhile, the new executives on assuming office organized a football competition between single and married men of the Union.
