WORLD CUP: Super Eagles Set To Depart For Ghana| SEE WHEN

As the race for football sovereignty continues in a battle royale that will feature West Africans giants, Nigeria and Ghana, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to journey to Ghana.

Augustine Eguavoen-led star studded team will jet off to neighbouring country, Ghana on Thursday 24th March for the much-awaited World Cup Playoffs at the famed Baba Yara Stadium.

The Super Eagles are billed to face the Black Stars of Ghana in a pitched contest for a slot at the epochal Qatar 2022 World Cup fiesta slated for November on the 25th of March.

The delegation of players and coaches of the national team will depart the country for Ghana on Thursday morning via a chartered flight from the Nnamdi Azikiwe international Airport in Abuja.

Meanwhile, camping towards the 2022 World Cup playoffs against Otto Addo-led Black Stars began over the weekend in the nation’s metropolis, Abuja.

Archrivals Ghana host the first leg of the playoff this Friday, before the reverse fixture is played four days later on March 29.

Meanwhile the 24 man squad; Ekong, Balogun, Ajayi, Aina, Onyeka, Ighalo, Akpeyi, Musa, Etebo, Iheanacho, Abdullahi, Uzoho, Simon, Dennis, Aribo, Bassey, Bonke, Omeruo, Sanusi, Chukwueze, Osimhen, Amoo, Lookman, Umar, Noble, are now in Abuja.
