Why We Threw Stones, Sachet Water At Kwankwaso – Supporters

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People Party (NNNP), was on Wednesday attacked by some aggrieved supporters in Kogi state.

Kwankwaso was in Lokoja, the capital city of the state to commission the party’s secretariat and his campaign offices besides Dave Mercy Pharmacy, along Kogi Government House road.

On arrival at a popular hotel where he was to address his supporters, group of persons who refused to be pacified threw stones and sachet water at kwankwaso. He was however whisked out by his security details unharmed.

Speaking to newsmen on the condition of anonymity, some of the attackers alleged that Kwankwaso abandoned them at the venue where they had waited for long and went after the party’s faction whom they are also alleging to be members of the APC.

Meanwhile, Musa Yunusa, a media aide to Kwankwaso, has described the attack on his principal as normal in politics.
