Donald Trump has confirmed that a U.S. airstrike in Somalia, which he authorized, has killed a senior ISIS leader and his recruits. He criticized Biden for delays, vowing continued action against terrorists threatening America.

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that a precision military airstrike, carried out under his direct orders, has successfully eliminated a senior ISIS attack planner and several of his allies in Somalia. The airstrike targeted caves where the terrorists were hiding, reportedly killing multiple operatives without causing civilian casualties.
Trump, in a statement posted on X, emphasized that the terrorists had threatened the United States and its allies. He criticized former President Joe Biden’s administration for not acting swiftly against the ISIS leader, claiming that the military had been tracking the target for years without decisive action.
“Our military has targeted this ISIS attack planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did!” Trump declared.
He further warned that the U.S. remains committed to eradicating any terrorist threats, stating, “The message to ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is this: ‘We will find you, and we will kill you.’”
This latest development highlights ongoing U.S. counterterrorism efforts in the Horn of Africa, a region that has seen a surge in extremist activities linked to both ISIS and Al-Shabaab. The Pentagon has yet to release additional details on the operation, including the specific identities of the terrorists killed.
