The chairman of Labour Party Lagos State Dayo Ekong, has revealed that the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party Peter Obi made attempts to visit the Oba of Lagos but was turned down over the weekend when he campaigned in Lagos state.
Dayo insisted that they wrote to the Oba, intimating him of Peter Obi’s desire to pay him royal homage as he usually does when he visits other states, but the request was not granted.
