Why I Want To Represent Umuahia South Const. In ABHA – LP Candidate, Emeka Jacob Obioma
The Labour Party (LP) candidate for Umuahia South State constituency, Emeka Jacob Obioma has revealed why he wants to represent his constituency come 2023.
Obioma who featured on AF-TELEVISION Programme ‘Focal Point’ on Monday expressed confidence that he has what it takes to represent his constituents in the Abia state House of Assembly and also attract development.

The candidate stated that he will work with the executives, Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) if elected to achieve his agenda for his people, adding that “I don’t have my loyalty with anybody except my people of Umuahia south and the good of my people”.
He assured that he would leverage on his relationships and 23 years of experience to attract development in his constituency.
“it takes human compassion, it takes the idea of being able to understand what the next person wants, he added.
He regretted that his community Umunwanwa have been ravaged by erosion for the past 5 years, assuring that if elected, the story will change adding that he intends to go to the Abia Assembly to change the narrative.
On his agenda if elected into the legislative House, Jacob said;
“Payment of salaries, gratuity and pension, must become a law in Abia state; it shouldn’t be a favor. He noted that he would push a law to make it criminal for any governor not paying salaries
