Few days ago the entire four Clans of Ikwuano LGA, The Chukwuemeka Onyenucheya Foundation carried out another ground-breaking humanitarian health outreach for the citizens. This special tranche of the free medical outreach took place in all the major Civic Halls (Centres) of each clan.
Preliminary tentative estimates have it that at least over Two Thousand people were attended to medically in Ariam/Usaka, Ibere, Oboro and Oloko Clans respectfully.
The elderly, sick adults, men and women as well as children were given medical tests, quality drugs and expert health advises that were administered.
The crowd was so much in Ariam/Usska that extra medics were required to assist the hard-working Doctors and Nurses.
The women in particular in all the centres were joyous and prayed for divine reward for the Founder of the Foundation, Rtn Dr. Chukwuemeka Onyenucheya, the entire group and his objectives in life.
The beneficiaries in most of the centres hoped that many other well-meaning Ikwuano indigenes could emulate this noble way of providing social upliftment, especially with the rampaging variations of COVID-19; pre- and post-natal complications in women, and high rise of arthritis disease among our rural Community inhabitants.
In Ariam/Usaka, the medical group paid a courtesy visit to HRH Eze Ambrose Nwagwu (Eze Chimere 1) the Royal Father of Ugwuegbu Autonomous Community. In the Royal Palace, Eze Nwagwu thanked and prayed for Dr. Onyenucheya for this noble course, and wished him more success in life.
Dr. Onyenucheya used the occasion to appreciate the Royal Father for making out time to receive the medical team in his Palace, and thereafter pledged that he will continue to strive to change the template of our people’s life patterns in whichever capacity that God can provide for him at any time, today and into the future.
The bottom line is that it all ended in praise.
