The incident happened at about 1am, where professors and their children were abducted.

Abducted persons include;

Professor  Bassey Ubom, his son and daughter; Professor  Obanza Malam, Sambo Mohammed and Dr. Tobit.

Sharing the tragic incident on its Facebook page, the University of Abuja wrote;

Suspected bandits attacked the staff quarters of the University in the early hours of today.

Our Safety officers, in conjunction with security personnel,  mobilized to secure the quarters.
