Enugu residents on Wednesday trooped out in thousands to celebrate the reappearance of Spiritual director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev Father Ejike Mbaka.

In a live video update on Wednesday afternoon by BBC Pidgin, Mbaka was seen in an open roof car waving to protesters who surrounded him alongside operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.

Recall that Mbaka was reportedly missing after  Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), raised an alarm that he has not been seen since Tuesday and could not be reached also through his cell phone.

Most of the Catholic worshipers took to the street of Enugu afterwards to protest his alleged disappearance.

Similarly, some youths alleged that Mbaka was picked-up by security operatives, over his recent call on President Buhari to resign.

However, the Department of State Security, (DSS), debunked the allegation.

More details shortly…
