Following the defection of two times Senatorial Candidate in Abia North Senatorial District Chief David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex to the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abians have already started expressing pleasure in the move.

While some said it was the beginning of better thing to come for Abia, others said the recent move will help to attract federal presence the more in the State, adding that Abians are happy over the move.

Speaking in Umuahia, Chief Kalu Uchenna hinted that the move of the political heavy weight to APC will help to bring the desired needs of the people, pointing out that the people of Abia State and Abia North particularly have suffered so much.

On her part, Lady Ozioma Nzubechi who was full of excitement, explained that her love for the politician has made her to know all his trajectories, maintaining that the move will sanitize Abia north politics and bring about the development Abia North people need.

Lady Nzubechi stated that Abia State will never be the same with the latest move and urged Abians who are lovers of development to join hands with Bourdex in a bid to make the state a better place for all.

Also contributing, Mazi Emmanuel Ndukwe lauded the move, saying that he had long expected Bourdex to join the ruling party so that good things will come to Abia North and Abia state in general.
