Former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Ude Oko Chukwu, has felicitated with the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, on the occasion of his 61st birthday, commending what he described as remarkable strides in infrastructure renewal and institutional reforms across the state.
In a goodwill message released on Wednesday 18th February 2026, Ude Oko Chukwu noted that Governor Otti’s leadership has ushered in visible transformation in key sectors, including road construction, bridge rehabilitation, fiscal discipline, health reform, governance reforms and other numerous areas.
According to the former deputy governor, the 61st birthday celebration is not only a personal milestone for Governor Otti but also an opportunity for Abians to reflect on the progress recorded under his administration.
Ude Oko Chukwu praised Otti’s bold steps in repositioning Abia’s infrastructure landscape, noting that renewed road networks and strategic projects have improved connectivity and boosted economic activity in various parts of the state.
