A former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah (PhD, CON, FCA), has extended warm birthday wishes to the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, as he marked his 54th birthday.
In a goodwill message made available to newsmen, Dr. Ogah described the celebrant as “a visionary leader whose legislative style, service to the people of Bende Federal Constituency, and national outlook as Deputy Speaker continue to uplift the Nigerian legislative institution.”
Ogah noted that Kalu’s unwavering dedication to his legislative duties and the people he represents has set him apart as one of the most dependable public servants in the 10th National Assembly.
He commended Kalu’s capacity to balance constituency interests with national responsibilities, adding that the Deputy Speaker has become a symbol of integrity, humility, and performance in public office.
“It is pertinent to note that your unflinching commitment in the discharge of your responsibilities has now positioned you to achieve more for your people,” Ogah said.
He further expressed hope that Kalu’s trajectory would continue to inspire young leaders in Abia and across the country.
