Abia industrialist, philanthropist and national leader, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, FCA (CON), has extended heartfelt congratulations to Obinna Uzodinma Eke, an illustrious son of Isuochi in Umunneochi LGA, following his well-deserved promotion from Colonel to Brigadier-General in the Nigerian Army.

In a goodwill message made available to the press, Dr. Ogah described Brigadier-General Eke’s elevation as a triumph of merit, discipline, and the enduring spirit of Abia excellence, noting that such promotions are reserved for officers whose careers embody courage, sacrifice, and unwavering national loyalty.

According to Dr. Ogah, Brigadier-General Eke’s rise through the military ranks did not happen by chance. Rather, it is the outcome of years of exceptional discipline, strategic intelligence, humility, resilience, and leadership capacity, all of which have earned him admiration and respect across several formations within the Nigerian Army.

He stressed that the promotion is not only a personal milestone for Brigadier-General Eke but also a collective badge of honour for the people of Isuochi, Umunneochi, and the entire Abia State, who continue to celebrate sons and daughters distinguishing themselves at the national level.

ā€œBrigadier-General Eke represents what disciplined upbringing, strong values and purposeful ambition can achieve. His rise is a message of hope to every young Abian striving for greatness,ā€ Dr. Ogah affirmed.

The former Minister commended the new General for consistently representing the highest ideals of the Nigerian Armed Forces, including loyalty, integrity, courage, peacekeeping, and an unwavering commitment to national stability.

Expressing confidence in Brigadier-General Eke’s ability to bring renewed energy and strategic insight into his new responsibilities, Dr. Ogah prayed for God’s continued protection and guidance upon him as he takes on more demanding national duties.

ā€œYour promotion is not just a step forward— it is a legacy unfolding. May your leadership continue to shine, and may your service bring honour and inspiration to generations yet unborn,ā€ he concluded.

The news of the promotion has sparked wide celebrations among Abians at home and in the diaspora, many of whom consider Brigadier-General Eke’s achievement a reaffirmation that hard work and integrity still pave the way to national recognition.
