Ubani Dannie Raises Alarm: How Abia State Govt, PDP Are Planning To Frame Me Up
Ubani Dannie, the Labour Party candidate for the Isialangwa South State Constituency in the Abia state House of Assembly, has raised alarm, alleging that the Abia state government and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, are planning to frame him up for m-urder.
Dannie in a statement he personally signed on Thursday, September 15, alleged that the ruling PDP wants to frame him up and have him tucked away in Afara Prison till after the 2023 elections.
Speaking to All Facts Newspaper, Dannie noted that some PDP members have taken to the social media to accuse Labour Party and it’s stalwarts which he is one of them of m-urder.
He accused PDP faithfuls in Isialangwa south of sending armed men to God’s care hospital in Umuawa attempting to forcefully take a patient, one Chinwendu Emeolgu who sustained minor injuries from a fistcuff he had with his peers in the residence of a Labour Party ward chairman, Joel Nnaonwu in a bid to frame him (Dannie).
He also accused the faithfuls of parading pictures of a corpse he allegedly killed.
“they sent armed men to the hospital to forcefully take the patient, but the hospital management resisted them. Now they went on social media accusing Labour Party leaders of committing mu-rder”.
He also alleged that while he was on air for a radio programme at Love Fm Umuahia on Tuesday, some armed security personnel attached to government House Umuahia, surrounded the station premises in search of him.
According to Dannie, he managed to escape unnoticed while his driver and aides who were driving out alone where accosted and searched by the security operatives.
“they want to lay a foundation, to accuse and indict me for mur=drer so as to have me out of their way for the 2023 elections” he alleged.
When asked if he has laid a complaint to the state police command Danie said;
“our members have been attacked severally; we have laid complaints to the police, till now, no practical pragmatic step have been taken. So our resolve now is resorting to the court of public opinion and God Almighty for his divine intervention”.

ABIA STATE GOVERNMENT AND PDP WANT TO FRAME ME UP
I have every serious and urgent need to inform all the relevant security agencies, all men of goodwill and the entire world that agents of Abia State Government and the ruling PDP want to frame me up for a heinous crime and have me tucked away in Afara Prison till after the 2023 elections.
Why do I say so?
1. Two days ago, I was a live guest at a radio station, Family Love FM, Umuahia. While still on air, fierce looking armed mobile policemen suspected to be a detachment of policemen drawn from government house security, in a Toyota Hylux and Honda Pilot, attempted to storm into the said radio station. At the verge of forcing themselves into the premises, they retreated and mounted an impromptu stop-and -search roadblock around the station.
This development constrained me to the station long after I have finished the live interview. It took a serious security manoeuvring for me to escape from the radio station while leaving my car behind. When my driver and aids finally attempted driving out in my car, the stern-looking policemen halted them, upturned every single pin in the car in the name of searching the car. As they couldn’t find anything incriminating, the leader of the team finally asked them “where is your Oga?” Their plan was to give me the Don Norman treatment; he was sometime ago arrested while giving interview and sent straight to Afara Prisons.
2. Just yesterday, PDP apologists in my constituency were going about telling people that I will soon be arrested and detained for mu-rder. They even went to the unbelievable but ridiculous extent of showing their listeners a picture of a dead person in their phones as the victim of the imaginary murder.
Before that yesterday, a handful of PDP and Abia State Government social media handlers have unknowingly revealed the satanic plans of their paymasters by posting that Labour Party leaders killed one of their members in Isiala Ngwa South.
These are all part of their grand plans of framing me up for a heinous crime, just as they tried framing up Ginger Onwusibe for attempting to assassinate the governor. All these are tinctures of the bigger and broader plan of hanging capital offenses on the necks of leading opposition members, especially in Osisioma, Isiala Ngwa South and Isiala Ngwa North, for the sole purpose of having us detained for long.
Finally, the world should know that I am only a political dissident but certainly not a criminal by any standard. Therefore, should I be arrested and paraded for whatever heinous violent crime tomorrow, irrespective of whatever sham of evidence or polemic they may come up with, the world should probe beyond the surface and know that I am being persecuted for my political beliefs.
