Trouble In Abia Accord Party, As Bishop Nwankpa’s Deputy Gov’ship Candidate Endorses Otti, Decamps To LP | WATCH VIDEO

As the governorship and house of assembly election draws near in Abia State, key political players are aligning and realigning. The most recent being the resignation of the Accord Party Deputy Governorship candidate in Abia State Prince Okpere Udo and his endorsement and adoption of Labour Party Governorship Candidate Dr. Alex Otti OFR.

 

While speaking during the official endorsement and crossover to Labour Party, the Campaign Director General of Bishop Emeka Nwankpa Campaign Organization Dr. Tony Agba who also endorsed Otti, explained that they decided to join the Labour Party and adopt Otti because he is better prepared and has a clearer vision for Abia State than their former governorship candidate.

He explained that they have come to contribute and make sure that Dr. Alex Otti OFR emerges as governor of Abia State come 18th of March 2023.

 

On the same hand, the former deputy governorship candidate to Bishop Emeka Nwankpa revealed that he decided to join Otti because he stands out from other candidates.

“Dr. Otti is consistent, he is consistent with his plans, his vision and they are available to the people to see. Having seen that, I decided I needed to join forces with this man to help bring about the Abia of our dream”

 

He further revealed why he left the Accord Party and resigned as Deputy Governorship Candidate to Bishop Emeka Nwankpa, he stated that the whole campaign is a one man show, his advise is not accepted and that Accord Party is not doing the right thing as they have not showed the sign of coming to rescue this state.

Based on the resignation of the Prince Okpere Udo, the governorship ticket of Accord Party may be dead on arrival.
