Former Abia State Commissioner for Works, Honorable Eziuche Ubani has rejected his re-nomination as commissioner based on credible information made available to Abia Facts News.
A source close to him revealed to Abia Facts News that his rejection is based on the fact that as commissioner for works in the first dispensation of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu he was just a figure head with no input in contracts and construction works going on in Abia State.
“The man is not happy, he said the governor and his boys does everything without his knowledge, awards all contracts to whoever they want without due process. He is not comfortable with what is on ground and will not be part of this system”.
We also gathered that the delay in presentation of the commissioner list was due to attempts to beg him accept the offer.
