In a bold step toward reshaping education in Abia State, the Transformative Justice and Development Network (TRAJDEN) has taken its educational empowerment initiative to new heights. Led by its Executive Director, Kelechi U. Imo, TRAJDEN revisited Community Primary School Umuwawa 1 & 2 in Umuahia, making impactful donations aimed at fostering intellectual growth and breaking financial barriers to education.

The organization donated Scrabble boards to the school as part of its strategic mind-building initiative, which seeks to introduce critical-thinking games like Chess and Scrabble across primary and secondary schools in Umuahia and beyond.

TRAJDEN’s latest initiative aligns with global best practices in education, emphasizing the role of strategic games in shaping young minds. Games like Chess and Scrabble are not just for fun—they serve as powerful educational tools that:

✅ Enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills

✅ Improve vocabulary and literacy

✅ Boost cognitive development and creativity

✅ Foster strategic planning and patience

By introducing these games at the foundational level, TRAJDEN is preparing students for academic excellence and equipping them with the mental agility needed to thrive in a competitive world.

Beyond cognitive development, TRAJDEN is also tackling financial obstacles that hinder access to quality education. In response to an appeal from the school’s headteacher, Lady Oluchi Charity Nwogu, the organization donated ₦105,000 to cover the Common Entrance Examination fees for seven Primary 6 pupils at Community Primary School 2, Umuwawa.

Many of these pupils faced the risk of missing their exams due to financial hardship, but TRAJDEN’s intervention ensures that no child is left behind.

“At TRAJDEN, we believe that education is the bedrock of a thriving society. Every child deserves access to learning tools and opportunities, regardless of their financial background. We are committed to breaking barriers and expanding possibilities for young learners,” said Kelechi U. Imo, TRAJDEN’s Executive Director.

TRAJDEN’s dedication to educational transformation is an ongoing mission, and the organization is actively seeking partnerships and sponsorships to expand its reach. Schools, corporate bodies, and well-meaning individuals are encouraged to collaborate in empowering young minds and building a generation of problem-solvers and innovators.

Together, we can create a society where education thrives, and young minds flourish.

For collaborations, sponsorships, and support, reach out to TRAJDEN today and be a part of this transformative journey.
