Former DSS Director, Mr. Raymond Nkemdirim has been appointed as Special Adviser on Security to the Governor of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.
Raymond Nkemdirim who hails from Umuobiala in Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State is an experienced security intelligence administrator that served Nigerian for 35yrs in the State Security Service (SSS).
When in service, he attained the peak of his career, retiring meritoriously as Director Operations, National Headquarters.
He holds a Law Degree from the University of Abuja and B.Sc in Education and Sociology from the Imo State University, now Abia State University, Uturu. He is also certified in Policy, Strategy development based on his study at National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies(NIPSS) Kuru, Jos.
Nkemdirim is also a Fellow of the Security Institute (fsi), from the Institute for Security Studies, Abuja and an alumnus of Harvard Kennedy School, Boston, USA, where he bagged a Certificate in National and International Security Studies. He also a decorated Member of the Federal Republic (MFR).
