A three storey building under construction collapsed yesterday night after the heavy rain in Aba, Abia state.
The building which is located at the extreme end of park road by east street, shares common boundaries with Watchman Charismatic Catholic Renewal on the left and also an apartment that looks like a hotel by the right all along East Street leading towards Aba river by River Layout collapsed due to usage of substandard building material as we gathered.
Two persons were trapped in the building, but were rescued by neighbors and taken to hospital
