When Plato, the great philosopher ones noted that ‘’the wellbeing of the society is what we make out of it for the betterment of mankind’’ little did he know that he was indirectly referring to one young man who by a high measure of commitment, determination, and total focus has spearheaded and contributed immensely towards the wellbeing of the people around him.

Although Plato is no longer here with us to see for himself that the betterment of mankind remains paramount as championed by Mr. Lucky Johnson. But the good news is that from wherever he might be, Plato will be happy that his view of what life should be for mankind is never in vain.

Mr. Lucky Johnson is one man whose love to reach out to the people has so far become a hobby that no moment passes by, without any record of his magnanimous gesture being noted.

Lucky Johnson

From his growing up in an average family, Mr. Lucky Johnson who hails from Umuasua Community, Isuikwuato L.G.A of Abia State set out early in life to do exploit not just for himself, but for the people around him.

After his Primary, post Primary and University education all in Enugu State, he set out to South Africa where he finally sojourned.

Suffice to say that his love towards people made him to send so many people both from his community and beyond to South Africa for greener pastures. He never stopped at that, Mr. Lucky Johnson have single handed established so many businesses to people to ensure that they are engaged meaningfully and shun vices that is capable of truncating their lives.

As at today, between 20 to 30, students are in his list of beneficiaries who have received the sum of N50,000 and above as educational grants; this singular has been on for the past 5 years.

It was in a bid to ensure the sustenance of his philanthropic gestures that made him establish a foundation in his name known as ‘’LUCKY JOHNSON FOUNDATION’’ on Sunday the 22nd September 2019. No doubt, this foundation will help to enhance his philanthropic lifestyle and make it worthwhile.

On the occasion of the unveiling of the foundation, those in attendance include a former Commissioner for Strategy in the State Hon. Obinna Ekekwe, the member representing Isuikwuato State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Okoroafor, as well as Chief Emeka Ikwuagwu a Commissioner nominee in the State among other notable personalities.

These people cut across party line due to his apolitical nature and spirit of cooperation irrespective of party leaning.

As Lucky Johnson Foundation kicks off in grand style, it is hoped that a lot of people from the less privileged homes will benefit from it and equally help to contribute their own quota toward building Umuasua community, Isuikwuato L.G.A and Abia State in general.
