The Monarch of Umueze Nguru in Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, Eze Charles Iroegbu, was on Wednesday, April 7, abducted by gunmen.
Eze Iroegbu who is also the owner of All States Mass Transit was kidnapped alongside his cabinet chiefs after attending a traditional wedding in Mbano.
Report says the gunmen stopped the king and chiefs as they were returning at night and took them to an unknown place.
“His Highness and his cabinet chiefs were on their way back from a traditional wedding ceremony in Mbano, when they were kidnapped. This is unbelievable and there is fear and panic everywhere” an indigene of the community said.
