Take ASUU To Court, Claim Damages – Minister To Students

As the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), remain adamant on their 6 months long strike, the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, has asked students to take the Union to court.

Adamu while speaking on Thursday, at the 47th Session of the State House Ministerial Briefing organised by the Presidential Communications Team at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja, advised students to claim damages in court, adding that it is the responsibility of ASUU to compensate students for the time wasted and not the Federal Government.

The minister maintained that the Federal Government will not concede to ASUU’s condition of receiving salaries for the six months they were out of school.
