Pastor Dike Nwankwo has described Dr. Alex Otti OFR, as the best brand of All Progressives Congress (APC) to take over the governance of Abia State.

 

Nwankwo who featured on AF-TELEVISION programme” Focal Point” alongside the media aide to Otti, Ferdinand Ekeoma on Monday maintained that Otti, who is a 2023 guber aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), is passionate and keen on changing the narrative of Abia.

“He has shown capacity; he is passionate about changing the narrative in Abia; he is prepared for the job of governance.”

 

He noted that Otti’s declaration was a relieve to Abians as they knew that “it will be a huge tragedy if he didn’t declare”.

 

He described Otti as an intelligent man with antecedents, integrity; one who is made and would not depend on Federal allocations and loans to run the state if elected.

 

Pastor Nwankwo added that Otti has huge supporters since he delved into politics because of his consistency and his capacity to deliver.

“Among all who have declared to run in Abia, he is the only one who has remained consistent since he started in 2015.”

 

He described Otti as the only opposition voice who speaks for the good of Abians.” There is only one man who has remained with the people, Alex Otti and that is why when he declared, people said oh thank God; I wish APC will give him ticket”.

 

“this is the brand; Alex Otti falls within the range of the best; right now in the APC Abia, he is the best and that is why they are trooping to him”.

 

Recall that prior to his defection to the APC, he has contested twice for the governorship position under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

 

According to Ferdinand Ekeoma,  “ Otti is on a journey and until he gets to his destination he will not stop”.

 

Adding his voice, Ferdinand Ekeoma said the act of owing pensioners and workers in Abia, is the worst form of injustice. He regretted the NUC withdrawing medical license from the Abia State University Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH), describing it as a great tragedy.

 

The media aide noted that there is need to criticize the government by all when it is not living up to the people’s expectation.

 

“what if the state you want to govern sinks completely and all the institution collapse and disappear, which sate will you preside over; if all the civil servants and pensioners are starved to death, which people are you going to preside over their affairs? He queried.

 

Reacting to the loan issue raised against governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s administration by a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Ncheta Elvis Omerekpe, Ekeoma described it as a vindication and confirmation of Alex Otti’s stand on “the questionable strategy adopted in seeking that particular loan.

 

“when Dr. Alex Otti discovered the inconsistencies, he took the necessary actions”.

 

According to Ekeoma, his principal swiftly intervened when he discovered a plot to twist an already presented loan proposal.

 

The spokesperson appealed to APC stakeholders, delegates, supporters and all Abians to join the train to move Abia forward.

 

“The best man is Dr. Alex otti because he is prepared; he is a known figure; he is a known name” Ekeoma added.
