Prof Gregory Ibe has congratulated Barr Sly Ezeokenwa on his Supreme Court validation as APGA National Chairman, urging unity and reconciliation within the party. He encourages all APGA members to rally behind the Ezeokenwa-led leadership to strengthen the party’s future.
In a major development for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof Gregory Ibe, the party’s 2023 Abia State governorship candidate, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa on his Supreme Court validation as the National Chairman of APGA.
Prof Ibe described the court’s decision as a significant affirmation of the legitimacy of the National Convention that elected Barr Ezeokenwa as the leader of the National Working Committee (NWC). “This landmark judgment is a testament to the judiciary’s role as the last hope of the common man,” he stated.
Prof Ibe praised the judiciary for upholding truth and called on all party members to unite under Barr Sly’s leadership. He specifically urged Chief Edozie Njoku to desist from actions that could cause further division within the party, advocating instead for unity and reconciliation.
“I appeal to Chief Njoku to see this ruling as an opportunity to rebuild and reposition APGA for greater success in future elections,” Ibe said. He further encouraged Barr Sly to be magnanimous in victory by initiating a peace and reconciliation committee to heal internal rifts.
Prof Ibe called on APGA members nationwide to rally behind the Sly Ezeokenwa-led NWC to transform APGA into a people-driven political force capable of delivering better governance as envisioned by the party’s founders.
“May this milestone mark a new era of growth and success for APGA,” he concluded, expressing optimism for the party’s future under Barr Ezeokenwa’s leadership.
