The Lagos State Police Command said it has unveiled a case of conspiracy in the murder of SuperTV CEO, Usifo Ataga, as they make more arrests.

The state Police Commissioner, Hakeem Odumosu, made this known while parading some suspects at the command headquarters, Ikeja on Wednesday, July 14, without giving details.

“We have established a case of conspiracy in the murder and we have arrested more suspects,” he said.

Recall that on June 16, Ataga’s lifeless body was found in a private apartment in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, with multiple wounds on his body days after he was declared missing.

A prime suspect, Chidinma Ojukuw who allegedly lodged in the apartment with the CEO was arrested few days later.

On interrogation on June 24, she confessed to have stabbed the deceased as they engaged in an argument after drinking and smoking.

However, Chidinma, a 300-level student of Mass Communication in the University of Lagos (UNILAG), on Monday, July12 made a u-turn in a viral video.
