Popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a Sunday Igboho, has sued the Federal Government to court over the arrest of his aides by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Igboho through his counsel, Yomi Aliyu petitioned the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Thursday, July 9, for the release of the arrested persons.

Operatives of the DSS had on Thursday, July 1 invaded Igboho’s  house in the Soka area of Ibadan Oyo state, arresting 13 aides while two persons were killed.

The spokesman for Igboho, Olayomi Koiki, had in a statement on Wednesday, alleged that the DSS did not allow lawyers to see Igboho’s aides in its custody.
