Former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido, has described as corruption the defection of members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Lamido accused the ruling APC of coercing the PDP members into defecting to help them build their party while they still describe the PDP as a dirty political party.
The Chieftain of the PDP who featured on Trust TV’s programme, Daily Politics, on Tuesday night, noted that the APC was incepted just to grab power and cannot bring the development Nigerians need.
“All they (APC) say is PDP is dirty but they are poaching on our members to come and build their party. APC taking PDP members into their fold is corruption” Lamido said.
Speaking on the recently concluded convention of his party, Lamido boosted that the convention has created more chances for the party in the upcoming 2023 election.
