Sports Writers Association Of Nigeria Commends Abia Speaker Over Mini Stadium Projects

The mini stadium projects embarked upon by the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji is surely exciting sports enthusiasts in Abia State and beyond.

Just barely a week after the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) applauded the Speaker for his mini stadium projects in different parts of his constituency and beyond, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Abia State Chapter, has joined several other institutions to commend the Speaker for his gesture.

In a 5-point communique of the Association signed by Patrick Nwaogu, Samuel Okoro and Joseph Nji, Chairman, Secretary and Member, respectively, of the Communique Drafting Committee, and made available to newsmen after their meeting earlier today in Umuahia, the sports writers said the mini stadiums “will further complement the efforts of the State governmemt in the development of sports in Abia State”.

Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has sponsored the construction of seven mini stadiums in Isieke Ibeku, St Stephen’s Primary School, Umuahia, Ubakala, Umuopara, Ikwuano, Olokoro and Ohuhu with more to follow soon.
