Kwara State government alongside some chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from South-West have asserted that Aiwaju Bola Tinubu is best positioned to lead the country come next year.
The APC chieftains stated this in Ilorin, Kwara State, during the inauguration of the north central agenda for who spoke during the inauguration of the north central agenda for Asiwaju/Shetima (NCAA).
According to the chieftains, the APC presidential candidate is likened to political sages in other times associated with liberating their countries in dire times.
The speakers at the event included Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, national chairman, South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) Senator Dayo Adeyeye, national convener of SWAGA, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo and the group’s South West women leader, Hon. Ayo Omidiran.
Represented by the commissioner for Health in the state, Dr Raji Rasaq, the governor said APC in the state will work for Tinubu the same way it worked for President Muhammadu Buhari.
Adeyeye said that Tinubu had been prepared for the task of delivering the country long before now.
“Nigeria needs Tinubu now because he did not start preparing to be president yesterday.It has been his plan for a very long time and he knows exactly what to do.
“I can assure you that banditry and other social and economic menace would be things of the past as soon as Tinubu wins and assumes power,” he said.
NCAA was set up by collaborations from SWAGA as campaign office for the candidature of Asiwaju/Shetima mandate.
