The South-East Governors have been slammed for allowing the Nigerian Army to launch an exercise code-named ‘Golden Dawn’ in the South East.

Simon Ekpa, a self-styled disciple of the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, berated the governors in a tweet via his Twitter page on Tuesday.

All Facts News recalls the Nigerian Army had launched the operation in Anambra State targeted at flushing out criminal elements in the southeast state.

The exercise, which will be a joint operation with other security agencies was launched on Monday at Igbariam, Anambra East Local Government Area by the Commander 302 Artillery Regiment (General Support) Col. Abdulkarim Usman.

The exercise according to Army authorities will target members of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB); the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the Eastern Security Network (ESN), kidnappers, gunmen, and other criminal elements who have recently turned Anambra State into a troubled zone.

But according to Ekpa, Southeast governors and leaders would regret the new exercise launched by the Nigerian Army in the Southeast region.

The Biafra agitator added that the Nigerian Army cannot stop Biafra agitation, adding that the Federal Government cannot win the “war by gun and bullet”.

“The SouthEast Leaders will live to regret ever allowing Military invasion of our land for the 5th time. Python dance 1&2, did it stop Biafra agitation? Uzodinma air bombardment in Imo, did it stop Biafra agitation? You can’t win this war by gun and bullet,” he wrote.
