Sir Oko Chukwu Tasks The Church On Peaceful 2023 Election
As the electioneering period heats up at various levels, the Abia State Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has called on the Church to pray for a seamless transition and enthronement of purposeful leadership that can pilot Abia State to greater heights.
Sir Oko Chukwu who made the call during the official unveiling of the Strong Tower Music Album Released by the Resident Minister of Dunamis International, Pastor James Msomter, held at the Church premises, Finbarrs road, Umuahia reiterates that prayers of the Faithful is most needed especially now that the State and Nation are passing through critical times.
The Deputy Governor expressed worry over the inability of people to document ideas and events which according to him often give rise to distorted informations being dished out to the public and commended the Resident Pastor of Dunamis International Church, Pastor James Msomter for all he has been doing in the Ministry as well as putting his thoughts on print and also promoting the act of praise singing to God.
He used the forum to further appreciate Churches across the State for always interceding and upholding the State’s leadership in prayers which have in no small measures contributed greatly to the modest achievements recorded by the present administration and the rating of Abia as one of the safest States in the country.
In his remarks, the Chairman on the occasion, Mr Okey Nwokeukwu while painting a picture of how praises move the hands of God to do exploits prayed God to discover more talents like Pastor James Msomter to Minister in songs.
Responding, the celebrant and Resident Pastor of Dunamis International Church, Pastor James Msomter said all his inspirations come from God who gives him the Grace to excel in his Ministerial calling and appreciated the Deputy Governor for always coming to identify with their activities.
The event which featured the presentation of a Point Man Award to the Deputy Governor for his Committed Exemplary Leadership And Human Resources Development by the Church attracted the presence of the General Manager of ABROMA, Chief Ndukwe Agu, top Government Officials, the Clergy and other notable personalities.
