SENATOR MAO OHUABUNWA CAMPAIGN RALLY WAVE HITS ABIRIBA, PAYS HOMAGE TO DEPUTY GOVERNOR IN NKPORO

The Senator representing Abia North, Senator Dr Mao Ohuabunwa has taken his campaign train to Abiriba to consult the people and consolidate on his political strongholds.
Senator Ohuabunwa reassured the people of Abiriba of his deep ties with them and his commitment towards ensuring that the promises he made during the campaigns are being fulfilled. He therefore called on the people of Abiriba to embrace the good things that have come to them as a result of his representation.
Speaking on behalf of the people, the paramount traditional ruler of Abriba, Enyi Enachioken extolled the works of Senator Ohuabunwa and assured him of their support for his return to the Red Chambers of the National Assembly.
The senator also stopped by at Nkporo in Ohafia local government area of Abia State, the hometown of the deputy governor of the state, Rt Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu to show solidarity and strengthen his bond with the people, reminding them of his long commitment to their cause and reassured them of his love for them.
Dr Ohuabunwa told the people that the emergence of their son as deputy governor was by divine orchestration, saying that if not for God, not even money or connection would have brought the position to Nkporo clan.
Speaking, the deputy governor who spoke to the crowd that gathered at the event, said that the zone remains PDP despite the gale of people who he described as ‘politically expired’, and that they will still vote the same way they voted in 2015.
On the delegation led by the Senator were, the Honorable commissioner for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Abia State, Barrister Gab Igboko, the Assistant State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party Mr J. J Okoro.
